Balayage is a technique that means freehand painting.. sometimes I use foils to color ,and sometimes i just want to freehand and paint it on. both give different effects and control, I love to do both but it depends on the situation…

and one more thing.. I never reference that an ombre is dipped.. Jen..thank you for watching… first off.. the video title is called “NATURAL ombre”..meaning its a soft blurring transition.. .Second, ombre is a gradiency between contrast or tones.. Balayage is a free hand painting technique.therefore. this video is NOT a balayage.. I use foils and NOT free hand…its so natural that it appears balayage… this video is to show people that a ombre does not have to look 2 toned and dipped.. get my dirft?
First you are a very talented stylist but do YOU know what ombre is?? I understand your “frustration with do it yourself clients” but honestly it was hard watching this video having you and your client who should never be downing a technique as if she was a stylist doing it. Ombre IS NOT DIPPED nor have a HARSH LINE like you keep referencing. It makes you look bad when people who do know the correct way to do it and can make Ombre look amazing hear this. What you are doing is more Balayage!!!!
