Marysa to keep your red color, you need to wash with cold water (bend over the tub and use a shower head or you’ll freeze lol) my red was semi perm color so I put shampoo in the bottle with left over color and used it every time I washed. You can’t keep left over permanent color tho!!

The reason for the zig-zag technique is used so they can apply 3 different level colors. Putting a darker color on he ends adds shine while lighter color on top helps to brighten the face. If if you used one color throughout it would be a very heavy look on the face.

I love the ‘Zig Zag’ technique! We use it for applying flashes of bright colour through the hair :0)
