Makeup Tips for Photos/Photography

Makeup Tips for Photos/Photography

(Level: General) During the recent IMATS Toronto, I did a class and demo on using brushes. Little that I know, the products I used were not “Photo Friendly”. As I breeze thru pics, I see that the makeup was streaky and masked. I thought this will be a good time to talk about tips on doing makeup for photos. EnJoy! Hi kora. Question. Would it be the same makeup for night time shot also. Pls suggest

  5. Jorgiee Christianos says

Typically, makeup artists start with the eye-makeup first (especially if they are doing a really dark look, like a smokey eye) so that if there is any fall out from the shadows, it can easily be easily removed without removing all the under-eye concealer and makeup up (and then having to redo it). x

Great educational video. Thank you for sharing.

  7. Kat Domingo says

It would be hard to clean fall outs under the eye if you apply foundation first.
It would even create a dark under eye i guess.

I think for dewy skin he did not explain properly. obviously it’s not photoshopped, it’s by using strobe cream. my makeup artiste always do it for me!

LAVIS SKIN CARE Moisturizer is probably the best lotion I’ve ever tried. I get breakouts AND dry skin on my forehead, this took care of that problem!
