Your order of application would be moisturizer, sunscreen, then primer. MAC Fix Plus is 3 parts water to one part glycerine with a few trace buzz word ingredients and fragrance. You can make this for pennies yourself. That being said, glycerine is a humectant (it draws in water from the surrounding air) that is best applied directly to your skin so it can benefit from its moisture attracting properties.

Hi Emily! Have you had a chance to try the Monistat Anti-chafing Gel yet as a primer? I’m wondering because I’ve heard so many friends (and people in general) rave about it and that it’s a great inexpensive, paraben-free primer that is also multipurpose if you do have any chafing or shaving bumps. I’d love to hear your opinions on it. Thanks for making such awesome videos!

Moisturizer usually goes first, followed by your face primer. When it comes to sunscreen, it would probably be best to find an spf product instead of separately putting on a layer of sunscreen.

What should I put on first? Sunscreen, face primer, and moisturizer? Do then need something like Mac fix+ after?
Monistat feels soooooo much like smashbox. I put smashbox on one side of my face and monistat chafing gel on the other side and I didn’t see nor feel a difference. Even when I don’t wear makeup, I still wear the chafing gel just to make my face feel smooth. It doesn’t smell at all, it feels the same as smashbox, and you’ll have it handy if you get chafing on your legs or something after running or something. 🙂
