I have shoulder length bob & after washing it I usually blow dry my hair upside down but I don’t blowdry it till it’s dry only until it’s damp & slightly dry, blowdrying upside down gives your hair body, then when it’s air dry I use a flat iron on it & ONLY flat iron the top layer leave the underside untouched by the flat iron, this also gives lift especially if you have curly hair, finish off with a shine spray & conditioner spray.

I adore using Big Sexy Hair Powder Play. It’s amazing for volume and SO easy to use. As is Backcomb in a Bottle by the same brand. I sell the most of these in my salon and it’s so much better for your hair rather than constant teasing.

did you do any kind of teasing? I can do the first part with the blow dryer..but it did not show how you got to the next step. The top back had to be teased. I am sure of it. !!

you know… as a person with thin fine hair, i get sick and tired of poorly trained stylists telling me that a bob will look great. if you really want to showcase your talent as a stylist figure out how to make fine hair look good in other styles. I have long hair with a disconnected crown of long layers that looks awesome.

The key to thicker looking hair is healthy hair. Do NOT style it but on rare occasions. Learn to love your natural hair with no straightening, curling, blow-drying or any heat in general. If you walk around with split dull hair, you will have thinner looking hair. Also, there is really no thing as “split end protector.”

girl im not gonna lie, im all OCD on my hair/body being clean (not so much the house hahaha im lazy in that department!!) but i wash my hair like every day, i might skip 2 days a week- if im bein lazy and i dont feel like dealin- but i wash my hair alot ;( and i just use the cheap stuff- anything from walmart lol
