thanks so much for the upload of this video.. i have really thin – baby fine hair that will not stay curled for nothing, i dont really like to put too much hairspray in my hair because well i guess i just dont use the right kind because its always to heavy for my hair and then it just ends up weighing it down and making it look greasy, but i will be giving this a try, thank you so much! 🙂

I knew you were the one to watch when l saw this video and saw your hair look close to what mine looks like after l put it in curlers or up in a bun when wet.l had no clue to do what you did with it..l’m a subscriber now. I’ve always had thin/fine hair, and this really does work! Thank you for sharing… You’re an angel! I also find that it helps a lot if I don’t wash my hair EVERY day. It does so much better the ‘day after’, when it has a build-up of hairspray already. I love your video, you did great! 🙂
VoluMax hairspray-Sally Beauty $12 (in southeast Michigan, at least). It’s like Superglue for your hair but completely invisible, and your hair isn’t hard as a rock. I have ultra-fine hair and I love it. Gonna try your advice about “sexy mama” hair before curling lol. Awesome idea, thanks!!

Just subscribed! I also have fine hair, and I watched a video a while back where they do the curls the same as you, but while they are still hot they wind the curl around their finger to their head, and pin each with a bobby pin, and also spray a little hair spray on each. So as they cool, they set pinned into a curl. They said it holds better for them. They also use a little mouse and heat protector. Thought I would mention this in case you want to see if it helps with the hold. Good video btw!

hi, i also have fine hair and im also a hairdresser. just wanted to give you a suggestion that you should lower the heat on the iron so you wont fry your hair and cause breakage. fine hair should slwsys use the lowest setting. a great hairspray for thin hair is by “follicure”.

Ok if your hair is thin like mine like you said you will not have to hold the curling iron long at all cuz with thin hair it doesnt take much heat but def I would for 30 sec I kno seems fast but when your holding it , it actually is a long time! I have been doing the same thing, I discovered it by accident by going to bed with my hair wet up in a clippy, the next morning it was frizzy, but I realized it looked thicker & felt thicker. I had done the braids before also, & it works also, but it makes it a more wavy look. I’ve always had long hair, but the older I got the thinner it got “BUMMER”, LOL, But this trick totally works! I watch your videos but somehow missed this one till now. P.S. Congrats on your new relationship! Best Wishes!
