Thumbs up to artfusion1. First I would like to say you are not only a great
artist, but also a great instructor. I thank the creator for your skills. I
would like to ask your opinion. Recently I seen a video on how to make your
own Gesso. The ingredients were glue, water, baby powder and titanium
white. So I wanted to know from you is this a suitable way to make your own
at a cheaper price, but will my art work come out properly?

Since you are doing such a large space, could you just pour some Gesso on
the canvas and use a roller or large sort of spatula (or palette knife)?

Do I need to apply Gesso on Claybord? I do a lot for collages and
sometimes the gel medium stains the claybord and then I will have to sand
it around the collages pieces. I thought of just painting the claybord,
but will gesso be better?
I watched this yesterday and gessoed a canvas…this morning I’m seeing
little tiny clumps of gesso stuck in the dried texture…is it because I
didn’t do it right? Do I have to sand it now? some videos say you should
sand the canvas…just seems like a lot of freakin work…anyway, some
advice please!! And by the way thank you so much for this video it was
helpful and I love your accent!!
