i swear olive is a skin color with a hint of green to it. darker shades are just tanner versions, but it’s different from, say, a redder brown. hence, red doesn’t look very good on those with olive skin because red and green are complementary colors.

No, it’s not true. Olive skin is brown. A lot of white people claim to have ‘olive skin’ but they don’t. Not unless they have Southern European in them. Does this girl in the video look “white” to you?
