Yeah Raheem’s version sounds fuller, he did his thing. I was surprised when
he released it years after Dwele initially planned to. Dwele’s version was
originally supposed to appear on “Subject” but there were some issues with
clearance and rights. Rah wrote the record but some thought they co-wrote.
Oh well, we still ended up with bother versions. Not mad. Lol

I couldn’t listen to him because I think he sounds like Dwele, then I found
out that he wrote for Dwele. Crazy, huh?

What’s more interesting is often times when one performer writes for
another, you can still hear influences of the writer. Not many can actually
take the submitted versions and truly make it their own. Speaking of Dwele
– have you heard “Possible”? Now…have you heard “Possible” by Raheem
DeVaughn? Another piece to side-by-side… Let me know your thoughts.

They sound similar, but Raheem put his own twist on it.
*High 5* When I first heard Roberson’s The Vault 1.5 I knew this guy was on
to something. An indie project that crisp and well put together was a
rarity and he’s been crafting some really nice offerings ever since. I
recommend starting with The Vault 1.5 album and working your way forward.
I love “Possible.” I haven’t heard Dwele’s version, though. I’ll check it
out and get back to you.
