I can’t spare any hair so I wouldn’t tease ever because teasing damages hair. I would just crimp the crown area underneath the top section about two inches of the root area or add dry shampoo which helps to thicken and lift hair. If your hair is straight or flat looking it would help to make it look fuller by using curlers or blow drying upside. I usually let my hair air dry because I have curly hair but when I straighten it it looks soo thin and fine it flies away easily with little wind.

I would be mad if someone styled my hair like that

it’s not really misrepresentation the title only reads fine hair not thin hair which are of course two different things. I have fine very thick hair and it just lays there and does nothing the amount of hair doesn’t really make a difference if your hair is fine. I can actually get more volume in my hair if I get it thinned. You may be confused because having thick hair actually makes it heavier thus more difficult to create volume.

  10. im just a guy with an overdone haircut looking for a way to make my hair look fuller
this is beyond my comprehension and ability to perform at 6 am in 5 minutes

  11. If you have thinning hair that has more balding patches than thinness you will have to work a little harder at your styling/cuts. Really talk to your stylist and tell them what you want to look like. If they can’t get creative and give you ideas other than chopping it all off then they aren’t talented stylists… find someone else!

  12. 1. backcombing doesn’t break your hair if you’re doing it right.
    2. even if this isn’t thin hair the way they styled it will help to create volume if your thin hair is also limp.
    3. i have thin hair that is long. i recently got a cut that compliments my fat face and adds volume without chopping it all off. They created choppy layers on the crown of my head with long layers in the back. YOU JUST HAVE TO MAKE SURE THEY HAVE A LIGHT HAND WITH LAYERING OR THEY WILL MAKE HOLES IN YOUR HAIR.

Video is titled “fine,” but she uses the word” thin.” There is a distinctive difference. “Thin” hair and the scalp can be seen through the hair, the quantity is “thin” as in not many. “Fine” hair can = full head of hair but the shaft is very narrow and skinny. A head full of lots of fine hair often looks good. A head with “thin hair,” which is what she SAYS (when she speaks, not what’s written in the title), is a woman’s nightmare.

  14. KleWdSide says

There’s so many definitions for “fine hair” to the point where I don’t even know what it means. Does it mean thin? Does it mean silky & straight? Is it another way of saying “limp”? Ugh…

  15. pls pls pls tell me the name of the blow dryer you used?

  16. her hair are not LONG – they are medium lenght ! The title is misleading.

  17. Emily Hendriks says

as a stylist i would consider that to be long hair…. look at the length of the back…. very long…. around the shoulders is medium and anything above the shoulders is short….. anything longer than hers would be extra long…. its not opinion its comparison of the work that goes into it and pricing that is involved.

  18. Merrida100 says

And if you listen, you will hear better!

  19. michael quimby says

there is a difference between fine and thin. The title does not say thin hair! you should read better!

I can see at the time of my writing this, at least 37 people agree with me and understand where I’m coming from! (Thanks for thumbs up all of you!! Let’s keep this at the top). This brings me to the question: If this many of us recognize this video as false, and this many of us obvious came here looking for help with what is really thin hair (NOT what to do oodles of fine hair),..why hasn’t someone come up with a tut to help us women out? Someone out there,…help us?

  22. TheBaruskita says

exactly i totally agree!!! She has lot of hair, they are fine but lot of them! the hairstylist dont know what she is speaking about.
