The only thing I don’t like about choosing to wear your hair straight when
you usually wear it somehow shrunken, curly, twisted-out, braided-out etc.
is then you have to hear from friends, co-workers, family, “I like your
hair like THAT better! You need to wear it like THAT more often.” Well, gee
what did I look like to you before? An ogre? I just think it’s rude thing
to say. Just when they were all starting to get used to you wearing your
hair the other way and liking your natural hair the other way, here come
the condescending comments. I don’t think any natural looks necessarily
better or more acceptable with their hair straightened. Just different.
It’s a different look, like a new hat. It’s not practical for most naturals
to wear their hair straightened all the time anyway unless you want heat
damage or unless you want to spend hours on your hair regularly.

Be careful with titanium plates (on natural or relaxed hair) The plates are
known to heat up beyond the temperature that you set it and can easily burn
the hair. Ceramic is much much better. Nice results!

@saide956 yeah i have the 1.5in so you probably have the 1in. the led light
“on” should be opposite the “power” — try pressing the “up” button (or
hold down) when the iron is on? bc on mine, i have to press power again to
turn on the light. i hope this helps!! 🙂
