This tutorial is legit, but you can use a glue stick instead of spirit gum,
red lipstick instead of red face paint, and brown eye liner or eye shadow
instead of brown face paint. It works just as well. I tried it. And if you
want to talk or eat, then you could just apply the strings less tight. It
wont look as cool though :(

I thought you really did that

Can you use liquid latex instead of spirit gum??? It would be great if I
could get a response off somebody!!

I think you would look so much better if you would let your eye brows grow
more & shape them better . I think you plucked them to much to the point
where they are to thin .

Are you well? Your face looks as if you are having an allergic reaction to
something. You are still pretty, just wondering.

I did the same costume several years ago but I used liquid latex to form
the scars. It’s much easier to use and easy to wash off. Just brush on the
latex, wait for it to dry, dust beige face powder and then use a toothpick
to slice the liquid latex down the middle. When you have an opening, use
your fingers to pull the liquid latex apart. It will look like torn skin. I
then use red clown makeup and using a q-tip, I color in the exposed skin
with the red makeup. Less drippy then blood gel.

The next time you use scar wax you should use jelly or baby oil to
manipulate it more! The reason why your scar wax is messy is because it was
too sticky and oil or jelly makes it less sticky! Beautiful as always
    though! (:
