Should it be lighter or the same color of your foundation
so i understand correctly something like maybelline lumi would be for under the eye??? and something like rimmel wake me up is used for blemishes and undereye if chosen???

I have very ‘weird’ skin, and I’d say that without make-up I’m not happy, but with it on.. I almost feel uglier because it never looks ‘just right’.
I used to have acne so I’m now left with mild scarring on my cheeks and I still occasionally get the odd teenage breakout (I’m 18) but if I try to apply a thin layer of make up, it doesn’t cover at all (obviously) and I’ve never approved of putting heavy amounts of make up on, so I don’t!
What can I use to get that ‘just right’ look? 🙂

I can’t fiqure out taking my concealer on.. when i put it under my eyes, and when i go close to the mirror i can see it is under my eyes then.. i cant make it looks like there isent concealer under my eyes is so annoying.. :/

Sleek or Loreal have some good under eye concealers.
It’s no the stupid question, it a good one. Dry skin can be flaky and feel dry to the touch but it can also feel tight if you over wash it and only feel comfortable when you use a cream on it.

I have a warm or olive skin tone so can u recommend me to any foundation that is good and looks natural for me because I’ve bought a foundation before and it seem to make my skin looks pale and whiter than my natural skin colour

If I go to Walgreens for foundation, do you think that whoever is working in the make-up department would help me with finding the right foundation?
if your foundation offers enough coverage for undereye circles, you can use that. if it’s too sheer, you’ll need concealer to completely cover the dark circles. or you could use a salmon coloured corrector under the eyes to neutralise or at least minimise the darkness, then put your skin colour back to normal with foundation
hi, if you have a lot of red in your skin try using a green tinted primer or a green corrector, then use your foundation. it sounds scary i know, but the green will cancel out or at least minimise the redness, then you can put your skin colour back to normal with foundation. that should completely cover the redness and you can then wear blush! also for the shade of foundation, as much as we’d like to find our shade online we really need to go to stores to test them on our skin (neck). good luck!

thank you a lot! your words cheered me up right now! Since the last comment i posted, i’ve pushed myself to change my life around and to not be intimidated by small things like that. Now i go to sephora without worrying about anything, i still don’t wear make up because i’m too shy to go straight to a beautician and have a full discussion about what i should try BUT i’ve bought nail polishes, and i’m trying new hair-dos. i know it’s not much in 6 months but small victories are still important 😀

My veins are blue/green and i can’t really tell my undertone because it’s not yellow or pink, or orange.. But i have really fair skin and i feel like every foundation is going to look really fake on my face, get what i’m saying? HELP! :'(

I think I need to try matching my foundation color on my chest area cuz it always lighter than my face n neck 😛 but for some reason I feel like my chest look too fair than my face so I’m afraid to pick foundations that are fair than neutral(which is my face n neck). I think is will be too light but I think I’ll give it a try once of these day.
