Thank you, thank you, thank you everyone for the love!
It came out really pretty Toni, i love it ! i’ve been ‘planning’ to roller
set my hair for about 3 years lol my last one was about 6 years ago
It came out really pretty! I have roller set my hair since I getting
relaxers. I’m gonna try this out today!
This is a really beautiful style :)
with my roller set i rub a littlecaster oil on before sleeping and put my
bonnet on
Love it, Toni!!!!! I can usually get my curls to last using a satin bonnet,
or scarf.
I roller set my hair all the time. I find the curls last longer by using
wrap snap and go rollers. They are soft and easy to sleep in over night.
What method did you use over night that didn’t work for you?
Omg!!!! I love this look!!! I have not been natural long and i do not know
how to do hair that well but I am going to try this tonight!!!
This is beautiful. I am def going to try it. I am new to your channel and
will b up all night catching up!
What is that color in your hair???
It’s beeaautiful! I am transitioning (6 months post..Woohoo!) and I do
heatless roller sets every week (usually on a Saturday or Sunday) because
they are easy and low maintenance. My rollersets last very well for about
3-4 days. By the 5th day there are still curls but I have to use a headband
or something to make it look cute. I use Motions Firm-holding wrap lotion
on each piece that I wrap around the roller. Some people are against the
alcohol in it, but it’s what works for me. I think Carol’s Daughter has a
foaming holding lotion, too. My best rollerset happened just this week,
when I let my hair stay rolled up for over 24 hours. The longer you have
the hair rolled the better! Sometimes the wrap lotion can make it feel hard
and to combat that, I use small amount of shea butter with it, so it holds
but isn’t crunchy. I’ve only seen the paper used on really short hair, so
maybe you should eliminate that.
Beautiful Style
Hey I love this style and I think it super cute. But I’ve been
transitioning now for like 4 1/2 months. Does anyone know if this style
will work the same for me???
I love your hair that color is so pretty thanks so much for the information
on how to do these curks
Great tutorial! i will def try it. I have seen people pineapple curls at
night (i have done that too with flex rod sets). since your hair is shorter
maybe you could try the mini pineapples where you put up the front and then
the back
love, love, love this…u look absolutely flawless 🙂 what color do you
have on your hair and what brand, it looks gorgeous!
Would it be possible to do this on transitioning hair and get similar
effects? I’m about 4 months into the process. And if not do you recommend
anything to make that possible?
In order for my roller to stay, I used hair wraps to keep them in place.
The same hair wraps that you would use to lay your hair down and go under
the dryer with in the salon. With a lace scarf on top of the wraps keeps
everything in place, and makes sleeping a lot more comfortable. May not
work for everyone but it worked just fine for me. :)
I need this for graduation! 🙂 I will start practicing NOW! lol
I would say try the pineapple method to maintain the curls at night. I love
this style, thanks for sharing!
what is the name of the products on your hair, no listing…
What are the end papers for?
Omg this was so damn…..perfect lol you really had no frizz you going make
me go out and buy them rollers knowing darn well I don’t have the patience
to actually roll my hair. HA! I love this and I will be sharing through my
Pinterest natural hair board.
pineappling is always the best way to maintain roller styles overnight!
