I have really bad acne and I find that a blush/bronzer brush works well for
foundation and a concealer brush works well with concealer.

…oooor you could simply get a bottle of St John’s Wort organic oil, apply
it to your blemishes, and see them go. Also, if you ever do that, just know
you should avoid sunlight when it’s applied to your skin.
I have watched so many tutorials but this is the first one that has made
sense and that I don’t just label as black magic. Honestly, this is the
first time I think I’m confident to try on my own skin! Thank you so much

if i put primer on my face i WILL always look cakey…………….can i
ask you a question? even if i exfoliate my skin or put bb cream on it or
put foundation on it, it ALWAYS look cakey, no matter what i try to do,
moisturize, prime and such kind of things don’t help me at all, HELP!
Too much concealer too! Not on under eyes though, on my blemishes :/. I
think, “oh I still see the redness showing through, I should probably apply
like 200000 more layers.” Haha
I am 28 and I have been wearing makeup for 15 years. I have no doubt that I
am applying it properly, and I take all the necessary steps to avoid the
chalky outcome – that is my makeup and eyeshadow after application. But
recently I am starting to wonder, however, if my lack of high-end products
and tools is the issue. I have never used a brush for foundation. Maybe
that would help? I also have mild acne (just bumps more or less) so I am
definitely not working with a smooth canvas (even after exfoliation,
moisturizer, and primer.)
Anybody have any input?
sad truth – I always do these things and my skin always looks cakey… + I
have lots of acne scars, so… forever ugly skin with or without make up.

My little confession is that I love to put primer more than what I should.
I also cant help it when it comes to applying bronzer and blush. I have
been getting better at not over doing it with the blush but I need to put
down the bronzer.

also.. if you have normal skin, do you really need a moisturiser? and is it
worth spending a whole lot of money on moisturiser? (for example the
Kiehl’s one she talks about so often is sooo expensive!)
funny how the youtube makeup artist all use special lighting… this is a
cake face. In natural lighting anyone that uses a medium to heavy fountain
with setting powder will always have a cakey face. It’s the truth.
i dont bothe with a setting powder. Mainly because my skin is more on the
dry side and I never plan on sweating. I dont mind a little sheen of
brightness but I do like using avene’s facial spray as a mist tho :3 darn

I have a chemical burn on my face that are just scars but I have tried
everything anyone know how to cover them up?
I’m not really very freckly but I have a few freckles on my nose, so my
confession is… foundation and concealer ;p i always use way too much of
both thinking i’ll cover up all my freckles but all I end up doing is
looking like apple pie O.o great video, and btw love the nails! <3
Confession i love to cat it out i literally will take my eyeliner make a
small cat and then a lil bit bigger and bigger till i have a huge cat eye
and i will take a pic and end up looking like that scary woman slash baby
doll.
If you don’t have perfectly flawless skin , or aren’t in the lighting that
these youtubers are In, your makeup will look cakey. Acne and pores make
bumps in your foundation causing it to look cakey . You can’t do anything
to change that .
To much eye shadow
Using a primer AND a moisturizer actually makes the makeup wear off quicker
So use 1 not both!
