What happens if in the mixing medium I use witch hazel instead of water?
Will it still work? and can I use dermablend foundation with the mixing
medium?
not only expensive.. when they delivered the make up to my house. The
bottles.. YES “BOTTLES” IMPLODED. it leaked all the way thru the seal..
and no refund THEY won’t return my emails..calls. and they had the nerve
to keep trying to charge my credit card to keep me in this “once a month
delivery” bullshit.
Good info but hard to watch because of the endless babbling.
It seems like you’r doing alot of work.
You could just use 244 fluid (Silicone based) to mix it with your makeup.
It costs $4-5 for 4oz which will last some time, there are also larger
sizes as well.
There are also other Mixing Mediums out here that are Aloe, Water (Like
Mehron) Silicone and Alcohol based that are fairly inexpensive Starting
around $4 depending on the size, Check out Amazon for these items but there
are also other avenues you can use as well.
Honestly, by the time you purchased all of those items you could’ve gotten
something premixed and works well, better even with better coverage.Your
old bottles of Airbrush makeup would’ve been great for mixing this too.
Also, Cosmetic Grade Minerals would work for eyeshadow, blushes, etc you
can find on Esty very inexpensive, a little goes a long way. But Elf makeup
is fine too, I would just use the minerals or Studio grade of their
cosmetics but I do love the Mist and Set and the primer from Elf, I use it
everyday and it works great after airbrushing or any makeup installation
alone. 🙂

FYI FOR ANYONE OUT THERE, most of you are probably here for the same reason
that I am. To be able to save $ on the airbrush make-up. The Luminess
system is very expensive when you are on a fixed income, as I am. While
xmas shopping online at wm looking 4 art supplies &came across an airbrush
make-up system it’s on the wm site but Salon supply store ships it to you
it’s only $49.99 SKU WMRT-AIR-SET1612-BLK it looks identical except for the
logo thought you might like to know about it!

so how long does it last with the elf mist and set alone? Is it any good
compared to the regular airbrush foundation?
I just bought my water based airbrush kit- I have learned a lot from your
video- I also have an easy solution that costs just slightly more than
making your own. Mehron Mixing liquid I purchased on Amazon I paid too much
for, also Witch Hazel and Glycerin bc I have looked everywhere in my town
for them, but you can google around ant this medium seems well suited to
making any type of airbrush makeup that is water-based. I plan to make some
shimmers and eye shadows, as they did not come with my new Belaccio Kit. I
picked up a set of Temptu Aqua Colors to help out! And I got a large bottle
of Dinair makeup to try since it seems to be the mainstream brand-more
later… Thanks for reading my “book”.

journey! I highly recommend a set of 7 colors Temptu Aqua Corrector set
that you will find on Amazon! These are VERY pigmented colors for starting
your eyeshadow-blush-whatever bases, and eyeliner! It’s a bit of upfront
ouch, but I assure you that you will be DELIGHTED with them! Have a look

Do you think cornstarch would help with the shine? Some recipes I found use
it.
can i use liquid makeup? I have revlon nearly naked, fit me foundation,
revlon colorstay and cover girl. I am guessing i’ll just have to make them
thinner?i dont own any mineral makeup, that’s why I am asking.

actually i found that using just elf mist and set works best. i would not
recommend liquid makeup. u can try but if it has oil or sunscreen it may
ruin the air brush. and eyedrops may work.
