All the products are quite expensive, it would be good to see a tutorial
with products that typical teenagers can afford? Also, it seems a rather
time consuming process, I don’t think we can do this every day :(.
Saying that, this was fascinating to watch, as someone who has never been
taught any of this and could truly have benefitted from this help as a
teen.
It’s a shame that all my spots are on my cheeks, the area that you like to
keep as natural as possible. And it’s not always spots, but my skin is just
always red in that area. I just don’t wear foundation or any other make-up.
It takes too much time and when I do it I feel that it is so obvious that
I’m wearing make-up because I’m not good enough at applying it. Also I
worry about how it looks every second of the day and I don’t think that’s
worth it.
I just go outside without make-up and people will have to accept me as I
am, if they can’t do that, that’s their problem, not mine… That may sound
rude, but that’s not how I meant it :)
she’s so pretty
what concealer would you say is best for under eyes: clinique airbrush,
nars creamy concealer or bobbi brown?
this is great – you’re my new fave MUA! I’m 32 and have really bad skin
outbreaks but the rest of my skin is supple and wrinkle free and really
nice… thank you for doing this :)
+Emerald907>>>Today, I don’t get any new breakouts; my skin looks younger,
brighter and smoother after less than 7 weeks…..///
The model was beautiful before and after 🙂 and thanks for the
tutorial, very helpful since i’m going to 8th grade and i’m really starting
to break out. New subbie xox
I like this. Very pretty. Similar to how I’ve started doing my own makeup
on an everyday basis over the past year. I have combination skin and suffer
from hormonal breakouts (and have had severe acne in the past) and I used
to just slather on a thick layer of foundation all over. Nowadays, I use CC
cream, a little concealer, and translucent powder most days. If my skin’s
imperfections show through a little bit, it’s okay. It doesn’t cause me
anxiety any more. Nobody is perfect. 🙂
Thanks, this video is the most useful i’ve seen about how to conceal the
things you don’t want to see. I gave up on the heavy coverage foundations
that eventually looked like too much on my skin, because apart from my
rosacea and a small acne scar on my chin, i have a good skin. So i even my
skin with a medium coverage foundation, and then i go back with a tiny
amount of concealer on the spots that need it. Since my cheeks are dry and
i get hot flushes, i prefer to use a creamy concealer. I use the RMS beauty
concealer, pricey, but the best i’ve found for myself.
this is mind blowing! wow ! I really like your philosophy Lisa… I wish
that when I was younger I would have embraced my non-spotty parts of my
skin more instead of putting a thick layer of foundation on my skin which
just made it worse… I can’t… wow really wow …shows what make-up can
do if you use it well
Awesome video maybe you can show a woman in her 20s with adult acne with
oily sceen
And maybe also have a medium tan it would make an great demonstration and
it will be a great deal of help
Like some girls/women out there have the dry parts on there face like you
said on your video but more women also suffering
More with oily sceen and to much open pores like my self I’ve tryed so much
concealers and powders and none seem to help over the winter or the summer
it will melt right off my face dripping down or just would look like a face
mask my open pores don’t seem to help because of my oily skin it sucks
because I love makeup I wear only my eyeshadow my lip gloss and my lipstick
because I have to keep away from and my oily skin. Love your video’s xoxox
kisss,, PS any comments let me know what you think
It’s magic! Thank You! I’ll use it somewhere in the future, though my whole
face litterally is covered with acne, it still made me rethink about how I
should apply my makeup next time.
I’m 10 and I have acne I’m sick of having to go to school everyday when
everyone stares at me 🙁 I want to try this to cover acne but my mom
doesn’t let me wear makeup 🙁 anyone have tips?
Lisa the Magician
Hi Lisa! I’d love to know what type or brand of powder puff you’re using
here? Thanks!
Bourjois has rly great thin light foundations which is a lot more
affordable than what she used here. :)
What do you do if you’re redness and acne is more pervasive? If it’s not
just on your chin or jaw? The only part of my face that hardly breaks out
is my forehead. I tend to get a lot of pimples along my cheekbones then
working down the sides of my nose to my chin. I also have extremely dry
skin and slightly enlarged pores on the apples of my cheeks. The redness I
have is on my cheeks, nose, and chin. It seems almost blotchy looking. Any
advice? Light foundation doesn’t seem to cover the redness but heavier
stuff only cracks and makes my dry flakes and texture more obvious.
my face is a minefield of tiny bullets esp my forehead. I have a few spots
here and there but it seems my whole entire face is covered in smallish
acne? This causes a terribly unpleasant texture that can be seen in certain
lighting. I used to have better skin sometime ago and now, at 20, my skin
is really bad. Wish I knew how to eliminate the horrid pin dots. Good video
though xoxo
La roche posay is the best
What type of makeup do you recommend for really bad acne an red spots? I
don’t mean the brand but like a stick or liquid or powder?
I have never had acne throughout high school, aside from PMS breakouts,
suddenly at 21 I’m breaking out horribly. So of course I have had zero
knowledge in covering acne up, because I hadn’t needed it. Many, many, many
thanks, what I would give to be that girl in the video!
this is actually so amazing it’s unreal
I’ve watched this an embarrassing amount of times it’s just so mesmerising
how she magically changes her skin like whoa
Lovely. She doesn’t need anymore makeup.
Lisa your amazing!
Great video, but most of us teenagers can’t afford all that makeup!(I
definitely can’t)
